Individual services are $125/hr. We do not currently accept insurance at this time.

      • What is a sliding scale?

        • A sliding scale is offered typically to adjust the cost of sessions to a more affordable rate and is typically based on a handful of factors.

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a cost-breakdown or overview of how much therapy can cost over time for self-pay clients. Typically, they include all costs that you could incur, so you don't end up with any surprises down the road. All clients receive a good faith estimate upon scheduling or upon request. If you are exploring other therapy options, know that your right to GFEs are protected by law!

We do not accept insurance at this time, but we may have some sliding scale slots available.

A PDS is a Professional Disclosure Statement. This is a formal document many counselors include in their informed consent process. While much of the information can be found on public profiles like counselor websites or places like psychology today, this is a document that outlines information such as therapeutic style, formal education, fees, supervisors, and other important information. You have the legal right to this document much like the Good Faith Estimate, so be sure to ask if your provider has not provided you with this document! 

The logo and name "Julian's Compass" were designed with discretion and confidentiality in mind.  

Hummingbirds have a handful of symbolisms and meaning interpretations based on unique perceptions of an individual. They have been known to represent joy, resiliency, love, hope, messengers, spiritual guides, reincarnated warriors, gentle presences, and intentionally seen through trust. The humming bird in the logo sports a little cowboy hat, the "o" in "compass" is a nautical star, and the combination of these elements points back to the owner's background and childhood honoring their own narratives and navigation through life as well as their family of origin. We all have a story, narrative, and lived experience that guides and informs our understanding of our lives.  

The hummingbird just needed a cute little hat. 

While we may expand in the future, right now we only offer individual counseling sessions.
